Host a Pop-up Makerspace

We’re a mobile makerspace and an exciting way to engage young people in STEAM (science, tecnology, engineering, arts and maths) programming. Bring our makerspace to your school, library, museum or organisation to provide hands-on problem-solving experiences for young people. We encourage young people aged 7 to 11 to to test new ideas and invent creative solutions. We introduce children to high- and low-tech tools and encourage them to take risks.

You can expect…

Young inventors explore a variety of hands-on stations featuring challenges and tools. They might be tasked with designing a weight bearing building or practice using a drill. We have a selection of stations for you to choose from to fit within your programming. Through collaborative and interactive activities, children will be encouraged to take on challenges and design solutions inspired by their imagination, real life and what they’ve learned in school.

I’ve had the privilege of seeing the Maker Camps in practice in Stannington and Parson Cross, and would highly recommend them. We’ve seen children from a wide range of backgrounds engage in the various STEM based activities, and thoroughly engage in the process. I would highly recommend booking Kisha and her team to deliver a day in your community.
